T69 StealthX X-Wing Space Superiority Starfighter

Postby Dav Man'Sell » Fri Jan 01, 2016 7:27 pm

The successor to the T65XJ series StealthX used by the Jedi Order, the T69 was developed as the 2nd Generation of StealthX Jedi Starfighter. Designed by Incom in conjunction with Jedi Knights Dav Man'Sell and Jago Pulastra, with input from Jedi Masters Corran Horn and Ksandra Mallan, and Jedi Knights Ronan Starflare and Ton Phedi, the new StealthX was test flown by the elite pilots of Dragon Squadron, before becoming their officially assigned starfighter.

Design work first begun in 45ABY, as the original StealthX reached it's tenth anniversary, and a full dozen prototypes entered trials with Dragon Squadron during 46ABY, where the fighter excelled itself in combat roles. The tests helped to refine the design, and by 48ABY, Dragon Squadron had adopted the starfighter permanently, and new T69s were produced to replace the rest of the Jedi Order's older, 1st generation StealthXs as they were lost or rendered inoperable, with the first units being delivered to Temples in 49ABY.
