T72 StealthX X-Wing Space Superiority Starfighter
The T72 X-Wing started out as a concept ship designed in a purely virtual environment. Created as a digital test bed for improvements over the 2nd Generation StealthXs in use by the Jedi Order's elite Starfighter Squadrons like Dragon Squadron, the craft experienced an unexpected shift from virtual to actual when Jedi High Council member, and Dragon Squadron Leader, Dav Man'Sell, contacted the Incom designers and requesting the vessel go into production, to help break the deadlock in the Yavin IV Mandalorian siege. The ships' parts were constructed carefully in the prototype labs, enough components for an initial run of eight ships, and then part-assembled, packaged up, and smuggled onto Yavin IV, where the X-Wings were then hand built.
