The Anakin Solo-type is a further modification of the Mon Mothma subclass introduced during the Yuuzhan Vong War. This variant originated with the former flagship of the Galactic Alliance Guard and namesake for this subclass, the Anakin Solo. Despite its incredible versatility, the Anakin Solo-type is far less common among the fleets of the Galactic Alliance due to the complexity added by its modifications. As such, this subclass is only assigned to high-ranking officers and used more in command roles rather than that of a front-line battleship.
Due to its greater number of modifications, the Anakin Solo-type actually carries a smaller number of starfighters and less daily consumables than its cousins, trading them for a better ship-to-ship fighting advantage.
