The Mon Mothma-type is a subclass of the baseline Imperial I-class Star Destroyer introduced during the Yuuzhan Vong War, though it has only recently been actually given a proper designation by the Galactic Alliance military and Kuat Drive Yards. This variant consists of a set of modifications to the vanilla model to improve the overall versatility of the warship. It still boats the same amount of weaponry as the base model, though it adds gravity well generators to the package as well as two high-power tractor beam projectors. These new gravity well generators required less power to function and were more streamlined, hiding their exact location on the ship and removing the large globes characteristic of other interdictor models.
