Virtually always seen in his grey-and-black duraplast Beskar'gam, Artus' face has not been seen by many - though with the buy'ce removed, the face beneath is middle-aged, dark skinned, with short, tightly curled black hair, and a slightly disfigured left ear. Average height, average build, he is indistinct in appearance in virtually every way.





Artus has been born and raised a typical soldier of Mandalore, and is a recognised and prolific member of the small Clan of Varad.




A typical Mandalorian soldier, the two main defining features of Artus Varad is that he has no patience for frivolity, and seemingly no sense of humour. Gruff, abrupt, even rude sometimes, he has colleagues, partners, team mates, but never friends.

Usually seen in green-and-red pilot's Beskar'gam, Beviin is medium height, medium build, with sharp features and short, brush-cut hair.



Beviin was born on raised on Concordia, the moon of Mandalore, in the smaller clan Abiik. From an early age, he showed an interest in flight, and was encouraged to become a starfighter pilot, finally entering combat alongside Mandalorian forces during the Yuuzhan Vong war. Although an incredibly skilled pilot, Beviin is not a particularly talented leader, generally fitting better in a supporting role under other commanders.



Beviin is a practical, quick thinking man, with a crude, soldier's humour, and a pilot's ego. He is in the top five percent of starfighter pilots in the Mandalorian clan fleets.
