"Are you sure about this, Joshua? You don't have to come. You've been through a lot here recently."

"What do you expect me to do? Sit this one out?"
"I will not sit idly by and let them burn, Ro. We haven't the time to discuss this in a committee!"

"And I will not risk a man's life without complete and utter confidence that he will not be liable to lose it from controllable circumstances."
"I understand your desire. Truly, I do. But you listen to me, Knight Kierra-Solo: unless you can prove to me that you are fit to fly, then your boots will remain firmly planted on the deck of the Argentine. Do I make myself clear?"

"Crystal."
"I don't intent to risk anyone's life, Master..."
"We should be able to ghost in past the outer blockade with relative ease..."

"Ghost past a blockade? How? Without question there are mines, starfighter patrols, and constant watches going on. Just how do you plan on accomplishing this?"

"Oh I'm sure there are mines, starfighter patrols and constant watches all over the systems approaches. The systems known approaches..."
"Off the Hydian way to Malachor Four..."
"Coreward bound to Yavins back door."

"Very well. And just what do you propose that we do after reversion, Joshua? Make a break for Yavin's surface? Stand and fight?"

Re: Hyperspace
"There's no point the Argentine staying in system to be destroyed. Once we have debarked it should perform a slingshot around Yavin Prime and fall back to the Malachor system..."
"I'd imagine the political situation is tenuous at best..."
"...and that the Argy will need to rendezvous with the rest of our forces?"

Re: Hyperspace
Carrie Stonewilde, sat at the communications table quietly, arms folded across her body, her chin resting in the palm of her right hand. A finger ran absently-mindedly up and down the edge of the bacta dressing on her left bicep, and her left foot bopped gently where it hung, left leg crossed over her right. She had watched the conversation between Joshua and Ronan, head turning back and forth like a spectator at a racquet ball game, in silence. Now, Joshua had drawn the Commodore into the conversation, and she turned to look at him. He sighed, nodding reluctantly in response to the young Jedi's observations.
=Commodore Ptrelli Stargazer=
"The taskforce may well have been assigned to support Jedi activities. It may well recognise Jedi Admirals and Jedi Generals. But ultimately, we're still part of the Galactic Alliance hierarchy. There's still no official line from Coruscant, save that they want us to 'keep an eye on things', and ensure the Mandalorians don't cause any trouble anywhere else, but not 'antagonise the situation further'."
Carrie lifted a little in herself, hand coming away from her chin.
=Carrie Stonewilde=
"Which is political double speak for 'don't go helping Yavin', right?"
The Commodore looked at her, nodding, an expression of irritation on his face.
=Commodore Ptrelli Stargazer=
"Exactly."
He turned, now, back to Ronan, and Carrie dipped her eyes, thoughtful.
=Commodore Ptrelli Stargazer=
"As far as Fleet Command knows, you're still on your undercover mission within the Remnant. Which is just about the only reason they're not on the comm to you, demanding you also stay away."
The officer shrugged.
=Commodore Ptrelli Stargazer=
"Regardless, our official orders are to monitor the situation, and maintain patrols of the local sectors. We've not even been given leave to head out for repairs. Field repairs only, all accept the Endeavour. And, above all, none of the fleet are allowed to attempt to breach the blockade. Defensive actions only."
=Carrie Stonewilde=
"That's all you need to do."
Ptrelli looked over at Carrie, his brow furrowing at the nineteen year old. She lifted her eyes again to look at him, a small smile on her lips.
=Commodore Ptrelli Stargazer=
"I'm not sure I get what you're driving at, Miss Stonewilde."
She looked from him to Ronan, then to Joshua, then to Veren, and finally, back to the Commodore.
=Carrie Stonewilde=
"They want you to keep an eye on matters. To not attempt to breach the blockade. Right?"
The look from the Commodore remained unchanged, so the young spy turned to Ronan again.
=Carrie Stonewilde=
"Well, they didn't say how far away you had to be when keeping an eye on things, did they?"
A look of realisation crossed the Commodore's face, and he too turned to look at the Jedi Admiral, a smile of his own forming.
=Commodore Ptrelli Stargazer=
"Hmm, I think it could happen that a small detachment of ships drift a little too close to the edge of the blockade whilst 'keeping an eye on things'. These incidents do happen. The Argonaut's navigational equipment might have taken some damage, you know. If she were serving as the lead ship in a formation, she could quite easily lead a battle-group to the very edge of the blockade by accident..."

"We don't want to put your men in harms way, Commodore, never mind have you risk your career..."
"We can find another way."
