*The temperate world of Adumar, closer to the Core than most other planets in Wild Space, was a planet well known for its penchant for Honor Duels, both with the customary Blastsword unique to the Adumari, and in the skies with both lethal and nonlethal dogfights. Governed by the Adumari Union, created in the aftermath of the Adumari Civil War of 13 ABY and uniting the planet and people under one banner, the populace of 3.1 billion people (the majority of whom are humans) enjoy a mostly comfortable life without the desperate need for resources that major population centers like Coruscant demand.*
