*A place of gathering for all members of The New Jedi Order, the multi-tiered Great Hall was filled with columns and balconies on either side from the entryway and dominated a large part of the first level of The Temple. The First room a newcomer will see upon walking through , it is four-stories tall with a wide array of Turbolifts situated at points throughout the Hall so that it could be reached quickly from just about any other location in the Temple.
Off of one of the four tiers, a small lecture hall sat that would be used to instruct Younglings in a group setting. For most of the others, chairs and tables could be found to facilitate the Hall as a communal place where Jedi would meet for various purposes, whether formal or informal. Between many of the pillars that lined the Hall on all four levels, there would be small stairs or hallways that would lead to smaller chambers for the purposes of private meetings, instruction, or casual gatherings.
This was the one room in the Temple that every Jedi would see at one point or another during their lifetime.*
